Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE)

Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE)
An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is an option available for the child's parents/guardians when they believe the evaluation conducted by the school district is incomplete, incorrect, or doesn't meet their child's educational needs. An IEE is completed by a trusted professional outside of the school system, but the school district pays for it, and it can be served as a second opinion in the child's IEP development process.

At PEECA Services, a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in educational evaluations reviews the evaluation report from the school, schedules a session to go over parents' concerns, and develops a plan for IEE that is specially tailored to the child's unique needs.
